On Sat. 24th, Ellen Hester and I took the 30 mile course, starting at the Good Hope Store. The ride was absolutey beautiful. It was a perfect morning for riding. I’am a new rider and I love it!

    Hello
My name is Lee Collins as you can tell from my websites name I am a Tattoo artist, as well as web designer and Photographer. I as well as my wife are history buffs and have been getting permission from Mr. Poss to photograph old, historical buildings on his land. I have gotten many amazing photos and learned quite a lot history about these locations. I do this non-profit as it is a hobby. I would like to photograph more historical locations or even just old farms , houses, etc. for a project about rural towns and their history. I live in Monroe and it has historical values most already know. But the aim of this project is to bring light about the history of individual buildings and the past of the locations in rural places. And as I am an avid visitor to Good hope, I would love this project to be based on its, history, and historical locations.
I would like to get in contact with more land owners as Mr. Poss that may have historic, or just interesting structures on they’re land for this project. Of course with the threat of vandals always a risk of hurting these amazing locations, the whereabouts of the locations will always remain anonymous. So if you are a land owner and would like to contribute to this project by allowing me access to the locations please contact me to discuss more details on this. Some of my historical location photography can be found on my website if you would like to see what it is I do.. I thank you for your time . Lee Collins.
